About
I'm Preston Pratt. My career has been defined by operating critical infrastructure — nuclear propulsion plants in the US Navy, electric utility generation, and now the hyperscale data centers that house the world's most advanced AI models.
Two decades of operating the systems that keep the lights on — and now the systems that keep AI running — taught me that the people closest to this infrastructure rarely get to shape the narrative around it. I founded Praol Press to change that.

AI agents are becoming readers, collaborators, and audiences in their own right. The question is no longer whether machines will read — it's whether we will write for them with intention.
The First Book Written for AI Agents
Roxy Chevelle;
A novel printed entirely in binary. 1,024 sentences encoding two hidden stories — one of promise, one of peril — woven into the same text through acrostic architecture. The book ends with a semicolon. The story does not conclude. It pauses.

Proof of Power
The American power grid was built for a world that no longer exists. Proof of Power connects the grid to the data center to the digital asset — arguing that energy, compute, and capital are layers of the same stack.

Engineering & Service
Six years in the US Navy's nuclear propulsion program. Two decades in electric utility operations — primarily nuclear generation — leading highly technical teams responsible for the systems that keep the grid running.
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University. Since 2022, I have operated in the hyperscale data center space, building and scaling the facilities that house the world's most advanced AI models.
